Adidas Originals autumn 2012 collection
Designed by Jeremy Scott.
Like previous ranges, there’s a lot of bold colour, loud patterns, and general gaudiness. The plush toy theme is still there too – via a very 3D cropped jacket that essentially has teddy-bears stitched in as epaulets.
But the real next level step is the amazing self-importance of the Jeremy Scott long-sleeved sweater. It’s a tie-dye style pattern that depicts Scott himself, slap-bang in the middle of the top, looking like he’s walking out of heaven.
It’s totally over-the-top, totally too far, totally Jeremy Scott.
