Jeremy Scott has never been subtle. We’re not mad about it, at all. But this season for his collaboration with Adidas Originals, he’s taken it to the next level.
Like previous ranges, there’s a lot of bold colour, loud patterns, and general gaudiness. The plush toy theme is still there too – via a very 3D cropped jacket that essentially has teddy-bears stitched in as epaulets.
But the real next level step is the amazing self-importance of the Jeremy Scott long-sleeved sweater. It’s a tie-dye style pattern that depicts Scott himself, slap-bang in the middle of the top, looking like he’s walking out of heaven.
It’s totally over-the-top, totally too far, totally Jeremy Scott.
