If you’ve travelled in Eastern Europe, chances are you have felt a little bored of meat and carbs once or twice. (Don’t get us wrong, goulash and knedliky are two of the world’s most genius inventions.)
At first it might not feel 100% right to go against the national dishes, to eat Italian food in the middle of Prague’s Old Town, but once you taste the treats at Ambiente, you’ll change your mind.
Ambiente is just off the gorgeous Old Town Square (where you can wander pre or post dinner) and is located in a very romantic basement. There are candles all over, arched doorways and it feels as though you’re miles underground.
Then there’s the food – it’s simple Italian, but the focus is on good produce so it’s all super-tasty. And here’s your bonus: it’s not too expensive either.
Ambiente Pasta Fresca is at Celetná 11, Prague (Old Town).
