Can you believe that Animal Collective’s Merriweather Post Pavilion was released way back in 2009? That is three years ago. Three.

The crazy-popular record (and crazy popular track ‘Girls’) is finally getting a follow-up, and AC fans couldn’t be happier.

The band has leaked two songs, that may or may not be appearing on the new album, which is due to drop in September. They will, definitely, though, be released as a 7” in June. So you guys have a little entrée before the main arrives later this year.
