Anna Mae’s Southern Street Food

London street noms.

Annamae-detail_full_for_exchange

We all know that the Olympics are on in London. That is exciting and everything, but if we were going to be perfectly honest (and we might lose some friends here) we’re more excited about food.

In reality, not a lot excites us more than food. So, don’t take offense Olympians.

So we were pretty jazzed when we heard about Anna Mae’s Southern Street Food which travels around London offering up tasty delights for anybody who follows them.

It’s trendy southern comfort food, a kind of soul food with Anna Mae’s twist. So let’s have one of everything please: mac-n-cheese (with three different types of cheese), hotdogs with homemade BBQ sauce or chipotle and jalapenos, and her trademark: The Notorious P.I.G. That whopper of a meal is a southern style pulled pork sandwich with Anna Mae’s special BBQ sauce, slaw and – if you want – cheese.

Actually salivating.
