Contiki: Where’s the best place you’ve ever travelled to?

Jaala: Moreton Island off the coast of Queensland actually!

Contiki: What do you do when you’re not travelling?

Jaala: I study arts at the University of Sydney.

Contiki: How do you save for a trip overseas?

Jaala: I stop eating out every day, that really helps.

Contiki: What’s your best travel memory?

Jaala: One whole day that I spent in Bateman’s Bay for my sister’s 16th Birthday. We went to 3 different beaches and swam all day, watched the sunset while playing endless games of cards then played at a fair that night. Everything about the day was just perfect.

Contiki: Fresh underwear, a camera, your iPod. If you could only have one of these items on your next trip – which would it be and why?

Jaala: A camera! Nothing else captures your memories like a camera. I could make underwear out of my other clothes anyway!
