For his Valencia Collection, designer Benny Gold created – long with photographer Bryan Derballa – a pretty cute lookbook.

It’s called Indian Summer Night and the whole concept is based on “one of those warm nights in the city that isn’t planned and you do not want to end. Telling the story of what happens after a good summers day that continues into the night without heading home first.”

Evidently that involves skating and cycling around all afternoon and evening, getting Mexican food and then having a little stoop party.

The actual collection is pretty basic, but very nice. Plenty of staple items including chinos, lightweight jackets, crewneck tee-shirts, button-up shirts and whatnot in a subtle colour range. There’s also some dashes of zing with bold graphics and bright patterned fabrics.
