It’s admirable when a person manages to turn a negative experience into an incredibly positive one.
Brendt Barbur founded the Bicycle Film Festival when he was hit by a bus while riding his bike through New York City.
The festival has been running since 2001 and is showing zero signs of stopping. In fact, it’s worldwide with the event travelling from Istanbul to Sydney, San Francisco, Milan, Lisbon, Athens, Hong Kong to Tokyo.
We reckon you should hire a bike (check out hudsonurbanbicycles.com) and ride around the most amazing city in the world before heading to settle in for some excellent viewing – of movies, and bike babes too, presumably.
The BFF comes to New York City June 26th – July 1st.
