Bills in Surry Hills isn’t super trendy, or super fancy, but it’s pretty great.

The wait staff is efficient and friendly, and the place is sunny and airy – and that’s all well and good, but we all know what you really want to hear about: the nosh.

We suggest the sweetcorn fritters with roast tomato, spinach and bacon; straight-up avocado on toast; perfectly prepared scrambled eggs; but more than anything else: you need to try the coconut bread. It’ll change your life. Probably.

You’ll most likely have to line up on a weekend, but it’s worth it.
