bimba & lola

The Spanish fashion label of the moment...

Step inside bimba & lola and you will find a treasure trove of geometic prints clashed with florlals, neon pop brights cooled down with pastels and tough leathers against rich cottons. bimba & lola is the must-have Spanish fashion brand that is making a serious name for itself in the global fashion world and is our label crush of the month.

Started by two sisters María and Uxía Domínguez in 2005, Bimba & Lola has gone from strenth to strength since its humble beginnings in Vigo in the north of Spain, where its head office remains. In 2006 it opened its first shop in Bilboa which was followed by 41 more openings and the introduction of franchising. It now has more than 100 stores scattered all around the globe in places such as the UK, France, Portugal, Egypt, Mexico, Malaysia and Singapore, and of course all over Spain.

This super cute fashion label designs all of its ready-to-wear collection of apparel and accessories which includes gorgeous dresses, suit sets, blouses, tailored shorts and trousers, handbags, shoes, belts, costume jewellery and scarves. Each piece is made to the finest quality using only the best materials, so you can expect beautiful soft silks and individually sourced leathers, mixed alongside other rich fabrics from around the world.

It's not just the clothing and accessories that we love about bimba & lola, the stores themselves are pretty amazing too! The Domínguez sisters see their boutiques as “a place to indulge” and this definitely feels the case when you step inside one of their Parisian-like stores. The in-house décor is the work of Elsa Urquijo, who uses linen-covered panels with aged metal shelves and display cases, alongside striking lampshades and mirrors, the perfect setting for such beautiful fashions.

View the collecion and We have our eye on the lilac tweed oversized blazer with deep purple trim trim and the pastel silk star printed blouse and pant set, whilst the handbags and accessories are probably the best pieces for mixing in to your travel wardrobe. Prices aren't cheap, you're looking at around 100 euro for a dress or silk blouse, but everyone deserves a treat every once in a while don't they?!
