We’re sure you know about Blood Diamonds by now, even if only by his associates.

This DJ/producer – aka Kansas City-born, once Vancouver-based, Michael Tucker – has been making music with his buddy Grimes for a while now. The duo recently linked up with Kreayshawn too, for ‘L$D’ – a song the trio apparently made in just ten minutes.

Blood Diamonds is about to release his single ‘Phone Sex’ (which, not surprisingly, includes vocals from Grimes) and this track, ‘Ritual’, is going to be the B-side.

Tucker says of the song; it’s a “reply to the notion of dancing all night. A cyborg-ish desire to be human is quite a contrast to being in that perfect moment”. It’s totally electric, while still seeming quite tropical.

Totally uplifting, like those olden days rave parties.
