Bruce Munro in Pennsylvania

Amazing light installation.

Munrolights-detail_full_for_exchange

British artist Bruce Munro has created a really magical installation at Pennsylvania’s Longwood Gardens. Located a little south-west of Philly, Longwood Gardens have suddenly become the place to visit as the moon appears.

Munro’s installation is called Light, and it is basically many, many, many illuminated sculptures that have been placed among the flowers. Then there are larger, less ‘natural’ looking pieces, as well as huge chandelier-style sculptures inside.

Way to blend nature with technology and thrill us all to bits and pieces.

Check out the time-lapse video of the construction and the totally magical outcome.

Longwood Gardens are at 1001 Longwood Road, Kennett Square, Pennsylvania.
