Shot by Alexander Basile comes the fall/winter 2012 collection from Carhartt.
Carhartt was founded way, way back in 1889 when Hamilton Carhartt designed and produced workwear. Carhartt WIP was founded way back in 1994 to create work/street-wear that has its roots in Carhartt, but appeals to a new age, and a new audience.
That old school, hard yakka vibe is apparent in all of Carhartt’s collections, and this one is no exception.
The range is made up of thick button-up shirts, puffy vests, crewneck knits, durable outerwear, and a bunch of heavy-looking overcoats. It all looks cosy, but functional and tough.
(We especially like the denim shirt with plaid inserts. Just in case you were wondering.)
