This is good news, music fans. Cat Power’s new album Sun is available to stream in its entirety.

It’s been six long years since Cat Power (aka Charlyn Marie Marshall) released any original material, and it’s been six years too long.

Sun is – like most of Cat Power’s output – pretty tremendous. But even more so when you think that she played every single instrument on the record, and then self-produced it (with a little help mixing from Philippe Zdar).
