Grotesquely cute.

Charlie Immer’s artwork is a little demented. It’s balanced between totally gross and candy cute.

You’ll see My Little Pony type critters right next to fairyfloss coloured skulls with their eyeballs falling out, skeletons in party hats, and funny little creatures whose innards are gushing out of them.

It’s grotesque, and adorable. You might even catch a warped version of Gumby.

Immer has completed a BFA in illustration from the Rhode Island School of Design and exhibits pretty regularly, all over the place, so keep your eyes peeled.
