Sweden’s Clarion Hotel doesn’t want you to pay for its rooms anymore.
OK, not exactly. But let us explain. In the same tradition as the legendary Chelsea Hotel in New York, Stockholm’s Clarion Hotel has announced that it will consider payment in the form of artwork from artists who want to stay.
The offer only extends to two nights per month and we’re guessing that there is a pretty strict policy on whose, and what kind of, art they’re willing to accept.
Unfortunately, the super-awesome comic we just created starring a depressed fairy probably won’t make the cut, but after looking at the rooms available at the Clarion (and the restaurant and bar) we’re thinking it’s probably worth paying in real life money anyway.
