Crave

Cliff’s Edge, Los Angeles

A little oasis.

Cliffsedge-detail_full_for_exchange

If you find Cliff’s Edge (which will be pretty easy since you’ll find the address at the bottom of this post) consider yourself lucky. This little gem is kind of tucked away behind a 99 Cent store, in a section of West Sunset that doesn’t scream “AMAZING RESTAURANTS RIGHT HERE!”

Cliff’s Edge is a total oasis. Apart from the food (which we’ll get to) the atmosphere and the service are both excellent. Outside you’ll feel as though you’ve plonked down in some resort in Africa – there’s a fire pit, torches, floral cushioned couches and fairy lights all placed surrounding the centre-piece; a gorgeous, old, fairytale tree. Suffice to say, it’s pretty.

But then there’s the food. Everything is good. Seriously. But we recommend trying the smoked trout rillettes, salmon ceviche, brussels sprouts, candy beets… Just get one of everything if you can.

The cocktails are also excellent and extremely well priced at about $10 a pop.

Cliff’s Edge is at 3626 West Sunset Boulevard, Los Angeles.
