Club Deep, Makarska

Party in the Croatian caves...

Imagine partying inside a cave where the dance floor’s packed, the sound system is world-class, the cocktails are potent and the crowd is young and out for a good time. Welcome to Club Deep.

Set in the Dalmatian region of Southern Croatia, in a beautiful little city called Makarska, lies a nightspot like no other. Club Deep is based in a natural cave which opens directly out to the ocean and boasts amazing views of the Dalmatian coast (you can literally be standing at of your club and feel the ocean run over your feet- amazing!)

Club Deep is split into two levels – you enter on the sea level floor which has a fully stocked bar, DJ booth and wicked dance floor, and if you head upstairs you will find yourself in the chilled out sunset terrace, perfect for lounging. In summer, Club Deep gets packed out every night with both locals and tourists, so not long after opening both levels are usually full with party goers.

The club is famous for its music and it has become a regular haunt for DJs from around the globe. Every night you can catch live music (typically electro), whether it be the tunes pumped out by the resident DJ or one of the guests – this year Club Deep has hosted James Zabiela, Hernan Cattaneo and Ante Perry among others.

Sponsored by Heineken, the club obviously serves beer but also boasts a range of wine, spirits and cocktails. Drinks are delicious here butt there’re not cheap, so if you’re on a budget then it’s a good idea to have pre-drinks with your mates before you head over.

Club Deep is a must-visit when in Croatia! If you want more info its Facebook page is more regularly updated that the website so check out; Oh, and a last tip for you... As the club is based inside a cave ventilation is not one of its strongest point so, we’d suggest you wear light summer clothing as it can get pretty hot and sweaty inside and there’s nothing worse than feeling like you want to rip your clothes off (or is there?!)
