Danny Brown knew he wanted to be a rapper since he was a little kid: “In kindergarten I'd say I wanted to be a rapper and people'd just laugh at me.’That's a pretty funny job,' they'd say." Who’s laughing now?

It makes sense that Brown (born Daniel Sewell) has it all planned out, because he’s had music in his life since inception; his father was a DJ and his mother, unknowingly, taught Brown to rap by reading Dr Seuss to him.

The video for his most recent single ‘Grown Up’ is bloody adorable. We see a child version of Brown riding around and behaving like a little punk – and we also get an explanation for what happened to the Detroit-based rapper’s teeth.
