Californian label Del Playa Drive has branched out into menswear with a seriously cool collection of board shorts. What we like about these guys is that they don’t take fashion or themselves too seriously. They’re in the business of making clothes we actually want to wear that aren’t going to leave us feeling like we’ve been robbed.

After perusing the collection, it seems like the designer and I have more in common than just our love of the beach. Each style has been inspired by a different boy from around the world including my favourites – Bondi Boys and Bali Boys. Designer Teena Zerefos worked with photographer Kodi Lane and model Chris Johnston to shoot the collection on Venice Beach before jetting off to Coachella in search of her next project.
