We’re still on the food truck tip, so if you don’t like your meals on wheels – you might want to skip this one.

This one is a food truck with a difference. Not just an old refurbished Mr Whippy van, the Del Popolo pizza truck was made from a 20-foot transatlantic shipping container.

It’s essentially a pizza restaurant on wheels – there’s a traditional woodfire pizza oven inside, and you can even see it because the side of the truck is exposed.

There are a few staple flavours (salami, mozzarella, basil, tomato) but the menu changes, so you could be in for a special treat some days. The prices are a little expensive for a food truck (between $10 –$12) but then, this is no ordinary food truck.
