Do Ho Suh’s Fallen Star

Amazing sculpture in San Diego.

Dohosuh-detail_full_for_exchange

Students studying at the University of California’s Jacobs Hall at the Jacobs School of Engineering are really lucky.

The San Diego school has just scored themselves a spectacular piece of work by Korean artist Do Ho Suh.

Commissioned by the school, the piece – called Fallen Star – was funded by private donations that added up to $1.3 million and it took seven years to complete.

It reminds us of the Wizard of Oz. We just hope there’s no witch stuck underneath. This is some real life magic, isn’t it?
