It seems like every street-inspired label in the United States is from New York, Los Angeles or maybe San Francisco.

But Durkl ain’t! This gentlemen’s brand is from Washington DC and the summer 2012 collection has just been unveiled. They’re cutting it pretty fine too, summer has arrived already in the northern hemisphere! But better late than never, and Durkl doesn’t disappoint.

The collection is made up of pretty standard pieces: boxy button-up short and long-sleeved shirts, baggy shorts, crewneck sweaters and some denim.

It’s in the colour palette and fabrics that the range gets interesting; there’s some Aztec prints, neon and military themes throughout the line, and we especially like the clashing fluoro peach and maroon sweater.
