Erica il Cane and Andreco in Morroco

Mudhuts and street art.

Erica-detail_full_for_exchange

More Morroco! Maybe it’s a sign. Of what, we’re not sure.

These amazing paintings have been spotted on the side of mud-brick houses in Morroco and are certainly not your average street mural.

There’s not a hipster New York City bodega in sight. The image isn’t to make some kind of “on-trend” statement or referencing pop culture in anyway. In fact, this is just a darn good looking painting on the side of a building.

By artists Erica il Cane and Italian-born Andreco, the piece is large-scale and wonderfully colourful against its brown background. The characters are pretty regal and majestic, which is also an interesting contrast against the simplicity of its canvas.
