Full disclosure: we were pretty nervous to write about the Fame Festival, because the press release begins like so: “Here’s the text, it’s the same from the first year, if you have it says it all and still, you stupid journalists can’t write a decent article!”

So with that as our not-very-encouraging start point, let’s talk about Fame. It’s a festival in Italy’s Grottaglie that’s presented and organised by Studiocromie. Basically, it’s a meeting of a bunch of international artists in a small Italian city.

Grottaglie is in southern Italy and it’s a place known for its ceramic art – so be prepared for a bunch of it during Fame.

From the organisers: “a new point of view on the original structure of this quarter and the city. While politicians and institutions only care about their personal interests, we’d like to give back to the town and its original asset the light they deserve.”
