If you don’t like small spaces, this charming little basement bar might not be your thing. But if you’re willing to face your fear for really excellent cocktails and good service, you should.

Happiness Forgets is a very nice, very little, very dimly lit bar in Shoreditch whose rules are as follows: “Great cocktails, no Wallies”.

This is no messing around cocktail making too – the staff here are mixologists, not bar tenders. If you like gin, try the French Pearl. But if you’re not sure, just let your bartender know what flavours you like and s/he will mix you up something delicious.

This also isn’t the spot for you causing a havoc, all your hooliganism can be saved for later in the night at whatever club/pub you end up at. But while you’re at Happiness Forgets, best behaviour please. The rule that you must be seated to be served a drink is actually enforced, so play nice.
