Philadelphia-based artist Isaac Tin Wei Lin lives and works in Philadelphia – as do many of his pieces that are scattered on walls throughout the city – but at the moment, you can see his work on display in San Francisco.
The show is on until August 19th and is called Last Words, but don’t worry, it’s not all morbid tombstones and whatnot. In fact, Lin’s show is pretty bright and cheerful. At least, at first glance.
These are all new paintings and drawings, and a lot of them are detailed, complex works. Lots of neat patterns, lots of neon rainbows, cartoons, lots of blending of mediums, and some interesting collage-style pieces.
It’s a total mish-mash and the walls are basically covered floor-to-ceiling with these mind-bending creations.
Last Words is on at 220 Clement Street, San Francisco.
