Karen Walker Eyewear

To be worn with some serious attitude...

The Kiwi fashion designer recently launched her sunglasses collection ‘Little Aliens’ which features some seriously cool pop colours and shapes that are certainly not for the faint hearted.

The range showcases beautiful frames that are usually large and include some rectangles, some round, some cat eyes and some shapes that not even words can describe. ‘Cabbie’ are a square frame shape that pop against the skin in a bright candy pink whilst ‘Iris’ are a bold round shape with a black frame and yellow highlights. If you’re after something a little more classic then ‘Wizard’ is a great square shape available in black and turquoise and ‘Anywhere’ is a cute round pair in cream or turquoise.

After holding a press launch in LA earlier in the month the collection has been getting some pretty impressive pick up from both press and celebrities. Style.com loves the Karen Walker ‘Bunny’ frames whilst InStyle are all over ‘Number 1’ and ‘Annie.’ The collection is extremely unique and striking and when The Hollywood Reporter spoke with the Designer recently about this she explained “we wanted every single piece to be strong, modern and energetic. Sure, we want girls on the beach wearing them, but we want strong women on the street wearing them’...and it seems this has been very much the case!

Rhianna is a big fan and has been photographed in Karen Walker Eyewear constantly for the past few weeks. Alexa Chung, Florence Welch (Florence and the Machine), Agyness Deyn and Whitney Port have also all been spotted sporting the shades and have been accessorising the eyewear for evening events, chilled days in town, afternoons at the beach and even on stage whilst performing.

So, be sure to check out the range and see exactly what it is about Karen Walker’s ‘Little Aliens’ collection that the cool kids love! The collection is so varied and unique that you will be sure to find at least one pair that you catches your eye and can be rocked this summer. A list of stockists from around the globe can be found at; www.karenwalkereyewear.com and can also view and purchase the collection here.
