It seems crazy that The Simpsons has been going for 23 seasons. Since 1989. That’s 23 years. That’s probably older than you. That’s ridiculous.

It also seems kind of crazy that it’s only now that the writers have decided to get a Gaga cameo in there. This show is known for its cameos and having it finger on the pop culture pulse. Let’s see: Michael Jackson, Buzz Aldrin, Paul McCartney, Luke Perry, Winona Ryder, Stephen Hawking, Rupert Murdoch, Cypress Hill, Lenny Kravitz, Alec Baldwin, Katy Perry – it never ends!

But now, finally, The Simpsons can add the meat-dress wearing Lady Gaga to their list. Gaga says of her character: “I play a bit of a slut. The apple doesn’t fall far from my artistic tree.”
