Artist Luke Caufield is opening a show at Lazarides Gallery in London on July 13th until August 16th.
His show Second Hand is pretty spooky – he focuses on neon light works from the 20th century – and there are lots of eerie lighting and magical undertones. It’s not magical like cutesy Disney stuff, magic like dark magic. Like, ancient scary stuff that you don’t want to mess with.
There are creepy figures with lights streaming from their eyes, owls that have powers akin to those in Twin Peaks and the whole exhibition, we figure, will give you the heebie jeebies.
Lazarides Rathbone is at 11 Rathbone Place, London.
