Nick Alive and friends in Sao Paulo

Walls come alive.

Nickalive-detail_full_for_exchange

More reasons to visit Sao Paulo. (As if you needed any more.)

Nick Alive is a 28-year-old artist based in Sao Paulo, Brazil whose works can be seen all over the city. His works often combine geometric patterns and surreal appearing people – or entities that are kind of human, kind of alien.

What we really like about Nick Alive, though, is his ability to collaborate with fellow graffiti artists. Right now, wandering through Sao Paulo, you can see large-scale graff works Nick Alive created with artists like Nern, Peko and Graphis.

How can anything so colourful and creative be vandalism? We’d much rather look at a mural than a mission brown wall. Don’t know about you guys…

Nick is yet another fantastic street artist from my hometown Sao Paulo. I love to stroll along Batman's Alley in Vila Madalena neighborhood to check out new paintings that change every week followed by a cold beer and nice chat at the bar / cafe / bikeshop / art gallery Tag&Juice right around the corner. A perfect Sao Paulo hangout! :)
