Massachusetts-based electro-pop group Passion Pit made one of the most cheerful, ridiculously sunny albums of 2009.
It was called Manners and it was featured everywhere from mixtapes for crushes, to advertisements, to picnic playlists, to TV shows.
Now the band has returned with Gossamer, their second full-length studio album. It’s not due to drop physically until July 24th, but it’s been offered up on the internerds for fans to stream already.
As with all Passion Pit music, it’s playful and cutesy and almost too summery for its own good. Aren’t these guys ever in a bad mood?
Meanwhile, it’s not bad for a band that was basically formed because the singer/songwriter wanted to write some love songs for his girlfriend.
