Phi Phi’s Reggae Bar

Bringing new meaning to ‘party’...

You’ve spent the day on the beaches of Thailand’s beautiful Phi Phi Island and after catching some rays and chilling in the water you’re after the ultimate night out! Well, look no further than the islands biggest, noisiest and probably most fun night spots – Reggae Bar.

Reggae Bar is located in the heart of Ton Sai Village and is the largest bar on the island. Measuring 25m x 75m, Reggae Bar is nearing the size of a small football pitch and has been drawing in huge crowds for years due to its packed events calendar...there’s always something happening at Reggae! The venue has five separate bars and boasts a huge dance floor, bar games, satellite TV and an extensive list of cocktails; all of which are served in Thailand’s famous ‘buckets’, but, the real attraction is the Muay Thai Boxing displays, a must-see when you’re visiting Thailand!

The place comes alive each night as local Muay Thai fighters compete with visiting boxers in a large ring centred in the bar. Party-goers get to kick back with a few drinks and watch the art of this famous Thai combat sport, with all the real sweat and tears. If watching isn’t enough, spectators can also get in the ring (guys and girls welcome!) and can box each other to determine who’s champion...always seems like great idea after a bucket of cocktails but here comes the Mum in us; be careful! On the awesome side, anyone who fights scores a free bucket and a memorable and quite random night out.

Once the boxing is over you can enjoy great music and some serious dance floor action - the perfect way to relieve any stress from your travels. The bar can get quite messy with its basic decor of concrete flooring and plastic chairs but the good thing is you can party your little heart out and not worry about spilling drinks over the floor or on anyone else, everyone is just there for a good time!

Reggae Bar is electric in the late evenings and is one of the latest bars open on the island, so as the smaller night spots begin to shut you can be assured that Reggae will be absolutely pumping! The bar attracts people from all over the globe and is an awesome place for meeting new friends or partying it up with your travel buddies.

You really haven’t experienced Thai nightlife until you’ve been to Reggae Bar, so get down there!
