Looking back at our posts here, we thought sometimes it could be said that we come across as kind of thrifty – but we can all appreciate it when you get something amazing for not an exorbitant amount of money, right?

This is one of the reasons we decided to write about Puri Mas in Lombok, Indonesia. Just next to Senggigi beach, this place is a total oasis.

Owned by a ballroom dancer (yes!) Puri Mas is a gorgeous boutique resort that offers rooms and villas whose prices range from just $104 per night right up to over a grand for the Presidential suite.

When you think that a duo can fork out just $50 a piece for this little slice of heaven, it’s pretty incredible. The views to Bali and also Mount Agung are worth the price alone. But then there is a spa, infinity pool and even dance lessons with the owner.
