Some restaurants are as renowned for their design and decoration as they are for their food. We’re pretty sure that seems to be happening to the Royal Academy Restaurant in London, thanks to its recent redesign by Tom Dixon.
Along with the lush upholstered chairs, spectacular lighting, and swooping dark arches, Dixon and his team has managed to extend the gallery space into the restaurant by including glass cabinets that house sculptures that date back to 1897.
Once you’re done looking around at the lovely space, you can eat/drink.
You can stop in for a quick glass of wine or cup of tea at the counter, or set up shop for the afternoon and enjoy a full three-course lunch.
The Royal Academy is at Burlington House, Piccadilly, London.
