San Francisco keeps offering up reasons why it might be the greatest city in the United States. Apart from it’s glorious weather, beautiful sights, awesome art scene, damn good food, gay-friendly, freak-friendly, foreigner-friendly attitude – it has an entire week dedicated to cocktails.

The sixth annual San Fran Cocktail Week is a seven-day long (duh) celebration of cocktails – ergo it’s a week in which Bay Area venues throw cocktail parties, hold classes and workshops, neighbourhood cocktail crawls, balls, galas, you name it.

Presented by the Barbary Coast Conservancy of the American Cocktail, the celebration begins on September 17th and runs until the 23rd. Quick sticks.
