Seven Grand is one of those great bars that kind of looks and seems fancy, but whose prices don’t match.

It looks like the inside of a ritzy gentlemen’s clubhouse. The kind of place wealthy fat dudes would reside after a day of hunting or horseback riding or something of that ilk. It’s all dark-stained timber, dim lighting, and taxidermy animals.

Despite this fancy appearance, it’s really just a bar: there are beers on tap, pool tables and plenty of places to sit.

It is a whiskey bar though, so there are some pretty great whiskeys and whiskey-based cocktails.

Just be warned that you can’t rock up in just any old attire: you can’t wear baseball caps, sandals/flip-flops, shorts or singlets. Keep yourself nice.
