Steve ‘Espo’ Powers in New York

A Word is Worth a Thousand Pictures.

Espo-detail_full_for_exchange

Some cities have all the fun. And one such city is definitely New York City. Those lucky ducks are currently home to about 25 billion Espo pieces on the streets, and now there’s an exhibition for them to enjoy too.

It’s been seven years since Steven ‘Espo’ Powers has had a solo exhibition in New York City, so this is an event not to be missed.

This show will display plenty of Espo’s trademark lettering/typography-focussed work – many in seriously large-scale.

That colourful, retro, and incredibly optimistic vibe totally smothers this exhibition, so if you don’t leave with a smile on your face… Well, maybe just go back in a try again.

Joshua Liner Gallery is at 548 W 28th St, 3rd Floor, New York.
