Stream The xx’s Coexist

It’s not easy to make emo sound sexy – and sexy sound emo – but somehow British trio The xx has mastered this sound.

After leaking bits and pieces from the record, finally the indie-pop band has made their second studio album available to hear in full.

The album was apparently partly inspired by the club scene (so one would assume dance/electronic music) but it’s still slo-mo and moody. It’s an ambient and minimalist approach, and the result is quite gorgeous.
