We’re positive Kali Arulpragasam gets bored of always being referred to as the sister of M.I.A. (aka Maya Arulpragasam) but we’re putting it out there just for a little context and for a little trivia.

Sister or none, Kali Arulpragasam’s jewellery label Super Fertile has consistently made incredible accessories that make statements in more ways than one. Not only are the pieces always (always) visually spectacular – oftentimes incredibly over-sized, gaudy and using fascinating materials – but each collection comes with a world message.

Super Fertile isn’t gimmicky about their messages either; it’s something that is intrinsic to the entire collection.

This time the line is called The World and each necklace – depicting an entire world map – is embellished with crystals that show which parts of the world are most affected by certain issues.
