What’s not to like about Canada? This is the country that brought us Drake and Degrassi Junior High and Justin Bieber.

Amongst other awesome things Canada is responsible for is Table 40.

Table 40 is an addition to Ottawa’s Fraser Café, but this is a restaurant with a little difference. Table 40 has been specifically designed for friendly communal dining.

A huge maple table seats up to 45 people and the restaurant has just announced it will serve Monday Dinners that are created as family affairs. The owners have said “Think of it as being invited to eat at a friend’s house, where what they put on the table is what’s for dinner.”

We imagine that apart from filling bellies with delicious comfort food, Monday Dinners will be the place people forge friendships over food.
