In a city as busy and bustling as New York, it’s sometimes strange to find large spaces – especially in Manhattan.
Tacombi is a huge garage-style restaurant that feels part indoors, part outdoors and even houses a taco truck. Inside. It’s almost a street food vibe – big metal tables for communal dining and fairy lights that one would usually see outside.
The food is easy Mexican. Nothing too spicy, nothing too crazy. You can munch on mini tacos (we suggest the seared fish) and corn, guacamole and chips, quesadillas and sip on horchata. It’s super simple dining, but has a fun and relaxed vibe that is uncommon in the city.
Tacombi is at 267 Elizabeth Street, Nolita, New York.
