The California vibe is really a thing. It can kind of be equated to the Sydney surfer thing, but even more mellow. That clichéd idea of a sun-bleached blond surfie dude with a busted up van and a bunch of sandy towels in the back is real, you guys.

We kind of get that feeling from Tantum’s most recent collection – except that these tee-shirts are still super-crisp and not covered in sea-spray.

The boys’ pocket-tees are pretty basic, but their little embellishments are fantastic. The fabrics are fun and colourful and have a Native American or Hawaiian theme, and some of them aren’t just for decoration.

There’s one in particular that serves a function – the octagonal pocket actually has a littler zipper. What you’re keeping in a tiny breast pocket of a tee-shirt, we’re not really sure, but it’s nice to know you can, right?
