The Cycle Diaries

London to Sydney in aid of War Child

Matt_andy_full_for_exchange

Have you ever had an idea that's so crazy, so outrageous, so impossible… That you just have to do it? That is the story Matt Mcdonald and Andy Madeley. Two mates from England, cycling from London to Sydney. Yes, that's London.. To Sydney… On a bicycle.

In their nine months on the road (currently in Laos) they have had an incredible adventure. Riding through deserts, snow, over mountains (+4000 metres), evading wolves and meeting all sorts of people along the way. They have travelled though 18 countries and temperatures ranging from -30 to +50 degrees C. They are aiming to raise £50,000 for War Child – a charity that helps kids in war torn situations. You can help them reach it by donating here.

The Cycle Diaries are all over the web, with their site, Twitter, Facebook and regular column on the Telegraph.

If you had a year off, what would you do?
