The-Dream hasn’t really gotten as much recognition for his solo work as he should have. While some hip hop / R&B / pop enthusiasts are all about him, the mainstream seems to only be beginning to lock in.
It’s funny really, because The-Dream (aka Terius Nash) is responsible for some of the best pop songs in recent years. This guy wrote (or co-wrote) ‘Baby’ for Justin Bieber, ‘Umbrella’ for Rihanna, and ‘Single Ladies’ for Beyonce.
Now we’re awaiting his fourth studio album called Love IV MMXII which is due to drop in September.
From that comes the track ‘Dope Bitch’ featuring Pusha T (who has been doing a billion guest spots in the last few years) and it’s total Dream goodness. Now there’s a video too, enjoy.
