The Sock Covers

Famous album covers recreated with socks.

Sockalbums-detail_full_for_exchange

Before you start asking “Why?” maybe ask “Why the hell not?!” – this is the internet, after all.

The wonderful world of Tumblr, where anything and everything can (and will) be made into a super-popular destination. Usually, dare we say, it’s the odd and silly that get the clicks and The Sock Covers is one of them.

Some legend (there are a few lurking around the interwebs) has recreated well known album covers with socks. It’s that simple, but they look so good.

And in response to the question “why?” the creator says this: “A flippant remark became a challenge. Sometimes to limit oneself can give great creative opportunities. And I have a f**k load of socks.” Indeed.
