Shot by Laurence Ellis, Topman’s fall/winter 2012 lookbook has just been unveiled.
The collection is a little weirder than most of the ranges we’ve seen from Topman, which is kind of daring considering how mainstream the label is. We are loving it sick, though. (Especially the orchid-print button-up shirt.)
The collection is very functional for real-life winters, with lots of heavy fabrics, wool, tweed and sheepskin layered over shirts, tee-shirts and lightweight jackets. The colours are also super-wearable: navy, grey, white, black and plenty of denim.
There’s a great workwear-meets-Americana theme throughout the entire collection, which takes dapper and makes it less dandy and more lumberjack. All you need now is a beard.
