The Great Barrier Reef has played host to its first art exhibition. Showcasing six single-edition prints undersea, local artist BJ Price hosts the three-day Undersea Art Exhibition.
The exhibition requires art lovers to don their Speedo's and scuba gear or snorkels and dive deep to the ocean floor to appreciate the artworks in their soggy glory. Price calls the exhibition "a celebration of the world's greatest marine wonderland" and hopes that the exhibition will encourage conservation efforts. "When people come up and see it and experience the reef, I'm hoping they'll fall in love with it. I think that when you fall in love with something you naturally want to protect it."
Best way to understand is to have a look at the film clip below. Tell us what you think.
