So a Tumblr called When in LA might conjur up images of incredible douchbaggery: the total LA cliché of “hot spots” and celebrity sightings and that hilarious cashed-up hippie style. But never fear, When in LA is pretty much just a Tumblr of gifs.

Sure, some of the references you/we do not understand because they are a little too localised but the majority of them can be applied to just about any city in the Western World.

Our favourites are the self-deprecating ones, like “When I want to catch up on the news”: Everybody else watches the actual news, but in LA it’s just a gif of Perez Hilton looking like a tremendous bozo.
