Hey just wondering if anyone needs a flying buddy?? My sister is planning on heading to London from Sydney around the 14,15,16th of June and would love someone to fly with as I will already be over there!
If you are flying solo and would like some company it would be great to hear from you!

Hi there,
I have the tour booked for Egypt, and I also travel to Prague.
Is it easy to find a ATM in both places? I am thinking about bringing enough USD, and just exchange to local currencies everyday. Is this a good idea?

Just wondering how long it takes to get from the Rhine Valley to Amsterdam on the tour?
I may have to leave my tour early & therefore will only get 1 night there :-( so just trying to figure out how long I will have there to squeeze activities into just 1 day & night instead of 2. I am doing European Panorama.

It will be my first international trip. plan to Dec/Jan, coz visa problem, I think I will join Italy trip? What’s the difference between 8 days Italian espresso and 12 Days Simply Italy? Does anyone travle them before? Which one is better? Thx so much. xxx

I’m going on the scenic southern in May and just wondering if anyone has anything to share about the quality of the accommodation. I’m not always the best sleeper but have gone the quad share and was just wondering how the accommodation was?

Is anybody else kind of worried about exchanging for american dollars at the moment? lol, it’s US .65c to a NZ dollar…it used to be 75c! I’m losing money! Kinda ticked that I won’t have as much spending money…will it go back up?

Hi everyone. I will be doing the Beach & Reefs trip in August and have some questions…
1. Do the hotels provide room safes to keep valuables?
2. How often will we have the availibility to wash clothes?
3. Will laundry detergent be available for sale or is it better to bring my own?
4. Anyone ever have problems with bed bugs?
5. When people refer to the contiki cough, is this kinda like having the flu?
6. I love my pillow and was thinking about bringing it on the trip, but Im afraid it will take up too much space. Any suggestions on this?
7. As for going out at night….what is the typical attire? Are the places more “club” like or more bar/lounge?
8. Do girls bring purses? What do you use to carry your daily stuff with…like camera, money, ipod, etc.?

Im doing the european conrasts tour in August, im dont think i need a visa travelling from the uk to europe but just wanted to make sure, ive checked the embassy websites and think its ok but wouldnt want to end up being the one without a visa! are there any brits who can reassure me that you dont need a visa to travel europe from the uk?

I’m new to the Contiki scene.
I was just curious on people’s thoughts on Portable audio and hand held devises. Would you bother taking these on your trip, or would they be a distraction in the way that they would make you a bit unsociable as people wouldn’t really talk to you if you got things in your ears and you may miss out on something because you’re too distracted on watching a movie?
And are they a target of theft?

Hi, I’ve booked the beaches and reefs tour, without the whitsunday sailing option, but I’m thinking of upgrading to do the 2 day tour, but I dont know if its a good idea, anyone got any advice?

Hi everyone.. i will be arriving 2 full days before i leave with the group for the London – Athens tour!!! so ive booked an extra night in London at the royal national. and after the tour i fly back from athens and have one more night at the royal national before i leave for canada the next day in the afternoon
so ive got 3.5 days in london to myself. any suggestions of things i need to see??

What are the pros and cons of each? My fiance and I are planning to go sometime in the future (not sure on dates yet) and don’t know which option to choose. We are leaning toward the cruising seeing as there are more places to go to, however staying on Mykonos and relaxing sounds nice as well.
Help? Any suggestions are appreciated!

I’m leaving for European Discovery next week and I want to know where I can get the best exchange rates for my USD here in los angeles area. Anybody reading this from SoCal pleae help!
Also, I’m not familiar with the traveller’s cheques and how to use them. I plan on bringing just cash and credit cards. Any info can help me.
Lastly, for Euro Discovery, what other currencies do I need to exchange my USdollar for? Euros and Pounds for sure, but what else? I don’t want to go to one country and end up empty handed.

does anyone know how leanient they are with check in? we’re arriving in Rome at 5.30 am (ouch!) and i think official check in time is about 2.00pm, does anyone know if they’ll let us check in at say, 7.30/8.00? or weather we’ll have to loiter around the lobby for 6 hours..

Hey everyone!! I am going on my first tour in September 08 so I have been reading the forums to get some advice. I noticed that some people prefer to bring debit cards than exchanging money into euros or pounds. I am from the United States and I’m thinking it might be more convienant for me to just use my debit card. Any thoughts or suggestions?

When touring the paris opera house, are you able to see all parts/storeys of the paris opera house? Does the tour allow you to go down below stage level to the other 7 existing storeys, including the lake which is famous for the Phantom of the Opera?
