Hi everyone!
Im trying to work out my budget for a tour and it just says that entrance fee to Versailles is not included.
I was wondering if anyone knows how much it actually is?

Has anyone stayed in the Broadway Hotel and Hostel in NY?
I’m looking at booking a private room (shared bathroom) for 4 nights in between my tours.
It’s so much cheaper than the Marrakech, but still one contiki recommends.
Is it far to the Marrakech hotel from there, doesn’t look too bad from the map…
Any feedback would be great,

I plan on taking the Aussie Explorer tour in Oct-Nov this year. What kind of weather should I expect throughout the tour? Can I expect the temperature to be at least 20C during day time for most locations?

Hey, can any Aussies tell me what the best credit and debit cards are for overseas purchases? I’m currently with Commonwealth (debit) and Virgin (credit), but not sure if there’s a better bank to be with.
I’m too lazy to ring banks and check, so thought i’d check with people who have already been overseas…

I’m going on the London, Paris and Amsterdam trip with my friend and her boyfriend May 25-June 3. Do any of you have any advice about what to bring… the weather… the trip… etc?

Hi all,
I’m planning on spending a couple of days in Anaheim after my tour (Northern Escape 23/09 – 05/10).
Anyone have any advice on whether it’s worth buying Disney tickets online ahead of my trip or just waiting until I get there?
If online’s the best then is there a preferred website I should do it through?

hey guys, im about to book my grand southern tour which starts on June 2nd! my travel agent told me it was best to book it all together i.e the tour and flights through contiki so if the tour does not go ahead i can get my money back, but I have found flights a lot cheaper and can save $700 by booking flights by myself, so what really are the chances of the tour not going ahead??

Hi all
I am flying to New York next month non stop(stopping in LA only to re-fuel) and I have a question regarding duty free. I have read on the net that if you land in america are continuing on a connecting flight that you have to put your duty free into your checked luggage once you clear customs(for me this will be in LA). Will that apply to me as I am actually re-boarding my flight in LA to continue to NY? If so can I buy duty free at JFK when I arrive? I just don’t want to risk a glass bottle breaking and ruining my clothes!

Hi!
Im in a bit of a pickle, I’m going on LA to the Bay on August 8th and i have two peices of checked luggage. i was told that contiki only allows one peice of luggage on the tour. Im not sure what i should do with my second peice of luggage.
Im flying from Vancouver to San Francisco, then San Fran to LA. starting the tour in LA and then flying home to Sydney from San Fran.
Does anyon have any suggestions to what i should do with my second peice of luggage, should i bring it with me and hope that the tour mangager will allow it, should i see if i could store it at a hotel? Any advice would be GREAT.

Im going on European Magic in late Sept. . .questions:
what time in the morning does the bus leave. .
If u miss the bus can u stay in ur hotel room or do they kick u out. .
Is there drinking alcohol on the long bus rides…
Is there bathrooms on bus. .

2. i really would like to see a show like billy elliot or the lion king ive looked up prices and they r quite expensive do they have a place like nyc does where u go on the day and get the cheap unsold tickets

Ok so I’m leaving for Euro Whirl tomorrow morning and freaking out!!!!! Last minute paranoid questions if anyone can answer:
1. Are there irons on the budget trips?
2. What’s the exact (cheapeast) route from Heatherow to the hotel?
3. What’s the best thing to do in London (before we meet up for our tour meeting)
For now that’s all! I haven’t even packed!

Hey,
I’m going to live in the UK for 6 months, and I’m currently taking a prescription that is subsidised in Australia on the PBS.
I’ll have an Ancestry Visa, but from what I can tell I won’t get medication on the NHS in the UK.
Is it possible/legal for me to get scripts filled out here, and sent overseas? Or does having an Ancestry Visa allow me to get discounted drugs?

Hey,
So my question(s) for you all is: How easy is it for a very shy person
to fit in? See, I’m planning to go on the Great Britain/Southern
Ireland trip soon and had originally planned to do it with a friend,
whose also very shy. But I just found out last night that she’s decided
to save up for a house instead. I’m still going, alone mind you, but
i’m going. The only thing stopping me from booking it right now is
work. But anyway, back to the question. I have a hard time being
comfortable around people until i get to know them (uber shy) and yeah
i know, most suffer from it. Anyway, what’s it like to go on a trip
like this by yourself? Is it more fun with someone? Is it easier by
yourself? And what’s it like sharing a room with someone you just met?
